Our Mission
Pekin Weldors’, Inc. is a full service welding
services company committed to providing high quality, cost effective solutions
to our customers welding and fabrication needs.
We focus our efforts on being a reliable partner for our customers and
our goal is to develop long term relationships with our customers based on
mutual respect and trust. We
provide people and processes to augment key customer welding needs, specifically
in three areas:
Weld Repair, Specialty Welding, and Production M.I.G. Welding. We
satisfy customer expectations through systematic improvement of all
manufacturing and support processes, beginning at the product development stage
and continuing throughout the life of the project.
A satisfied customer is the best form of advertisement that a company can
possess. We strive to maintain a
high level of customer satisfaction through the services we provide.
Our Company
Pekin Weldors’ has a rich history in the field of
welding services, dating back to 1974 when our company was founded.
We started out with four trucks offering welding services to
local scrap yards, contractors and utilities.
Today, we offer a wide range of welding services in our spacious, modern
manufacturing facilities. Our focus
is on the importance of customer relationships.
Over the years our company has grown and we have developed a wide variety
of welding service capabilities. Growth has allowed us to triple the size of our plant while maintaining one to
one relationships with our customers. We
can weld virtually all ferrous and non-ferrous materials, ranging in size from a
small bracket to a large bulldozer blade. We
pride ourselves in being a reliable, fast turn-around welding service company.
Our People
Our staff of trained welding technicians is among the
best in the field. Each operator is
required to undergo a rigorous training regimen, including annual certification
testing to the stringent A.W.S. D.1.1 specification, to assure that our
operators have the capability of delivering defect free, reliable weldments.
Although our staff has over 50 years of welding experience, we seek
continuous improvement through a training program to maintain consistent, high
quality welding capabilities.
Our Customers
Pekin Weldors’ serves
a broad range of customers in the heavy equipment, agricultural,
telecommunications, contracting and utilities industries.
Our customer base includes Caterpillar, Inc., Hagel Metal, Inc., Morton
Metalcraft Co., and many others.
Our weldments go into many OEM products manufactured by companies such as
Caterpillar, Inc., John Deere and Clark Equipment. Our customers know that they can count on us to provide high
quality, cost effective support in a timely manner and we are a certified
supplier to many of the local machining and fabrication job shops.
The importance of the customer relationship cannot be overemphasized.
Through trust and sharing of scarce resources, the growth and
profitability of both the customer and our organization will be realized. We want our customers to view Pekin Weldors’ as a member of
their team, an extension of their in-house process capability.

many of our customers are OEM’s in the heavy equipment and agricultural

system and consistent processes. We
are capable of meeting many of the documentation requirements including:
Statistical Process Control (SPC), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and
normal Certification of Compliance (C of C) requirements.
